Sailing and biking in Turkey

SATURDAY: Arrival in Marmaris.

Begins our Sailing and biking in Turkey tour. Arrival at the airport of Izmir or Dalaman and transfer to Marmaris. Check-in on board from 14 pm onwards. After dinner, an evening stroll through the alleys of the city.

SUNDAY: Marmaris – Sarsala , 22 mi. (35 km)

Let’s sail. After a short cruise of two hours, we reached a picturesque bay where you can swim a little. From here by bicycle, passing the plain Dalaman, we get to Sarsala, a quiet bay, where we will spend the night.

MONDAY: Sarsala – Fethiye (30 km)

After the breakfast, arriving in Fethiye , we will meet many small islands along the way. After passing through the pine forest cycling we get to the ghost town of Kayaköy uninhabited since 1922.

Hike through the ruins of this city and then again in the saddle, up to Fethiye. Do not miss a visit to the mosque of Eski Cami (located in the center) , as well as the Lycian Tombs above the city, in particular the splendid tomb / temple of Amyntas carved into the rock.

TUESDAY: Fethiye – Saklikent Canyon – Göcek (40 km)

A short transfer by bus (50 minutes) to the starting point of the bike tour for Xantos and then to Sakklikent Canyon, where we will have a picnic lunch at the foot of the river. Continue our Sailing and biking in Turkey sailing holiday

A stop to admire the spectacular scenery and then back in the saddle to Kemer, for the return transfer to the boat in Fethiye (duration about 30 minutes). From here we will move in Göcek for overnight .

WEDNESDAY: Göcek – Dalyan, (40 km)

From Göcek the bike path winds through a passage 350 m above sea level, with spectacular views over the bay. After passing through the pine forest cycling, we will continue still cycling through the green plain of Dalaman to Dalyan .

Short break during our sailing and biking in Turkey tour. A small boat waiting for you to transfer along the river Delta. Then spend the night in Dalyan, passing in front of the the impressive Lycian tombs carved into the rock.

THURSDAY: Dalyan – Kaunos – Ekincik , (30 km)

In the morning, once again aboard a small boat, there will be a transfer to the small town of Kaunos which is worth a visit, before riding the bicycle for the lake of Koycegiz and thermal baths. After a slope, 350 m to the small village of Ekincik , the boat and the cook ahead for a hearty dinner on board.

FRIDAY: Ekincik – Marmaris, (55 km)

After two hours sailing, we get to the Bozborun peninsula. Our last bike ride winds through a lonely mountain road, until we reach a village 300 meters high, with its trees that have an age of 1500 years.

Another 200 meters path and we will meet a spectacular descent, which will lead us to the coastal road of Icmeler . The boat and a delicious dinner awaits us in Marmaris. We finish our sailing and biking holiday in gulet in Turkey, with the promise to return soon.

SATURDAY: Departure.
After breakfast , disembark and transfer to the airport.
